Video footage shows a fox behaving aggressively outside a store and attempting to enter the premises. According to reports, the animal later bit a woman working at a pharmacy.
The incident occurred on the morning of January 28, 2026, in the village of Borovoe, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia. Local officials confirmed that the fox first approached the store on Lenin Street before attacking the pharmacist.
Authorities stated that the fox was later euthanized. A gamekeeper indicated that the animal was suspected of having rabies. Officials noted that rabies-related restrictions had previously been in place in the region following similar cases.
